Keeping the Rock’n at the Racecourse close to ‘home’ the event
is held at the ‘old’ Coolah racecourse, more commonly known
to locals as the ‘rodeo’ or ‘sports’ ground. About 3km from town
towards Dunedoo the Racecourse offers great views of the eastern
ranges and excellent camping facilities.
More accommodation
options are available in town.
There is plenty of space for families to let their hair down and
have a great time!
Food and beverage stalls will be available. BYO alcohol. Buses will be running in and out of town at very
reasonable rates.

LOUISE EGAN
Louise Egan is one of Australia's most unique female country artists - as she is a 'comedy country musician'. She spent much of 2009 recording her debut album Chasing Sound. Her incredibly popular song 'The "One More Song', a comedy take on the everyday musician's encore, received national acclaim in the 2010 TSA National Country Songwriting Competition. Louise was also named a top 5 finalist in the inaugural Blue Shoe Awards in 2010 for Best Comedy Song and took out the National Award for the Best Music Video (Regional) in the Australian Independant Music Video Awards for 2011.
In Dec 2009 Louise supported Jimmy Barnes and Adam Brand during their tour and was named a national Top 20 Finalist for 2011 in the prestigous Toyota Star Maker competition.

ROY MALOY
Roy Maloy is presently Australia’s best known and most sought after circus artist because of his enormous appeal, four world records and marketability to all ages of the typical agricultural show audience. Of specific interest, Roy Maloy is one of very few artists of global reputation who has a long standing commitment to performing to regional Australian audiences. As such he delivers almost all of his performances at agricultural shows, rodeos and other regional festivals and events. He is known across Australia for his death defying, charismatic and spell binding performances of what he calls "extreme circus". The 35 year old of no fixed address has been performing his unique form of sport for over 15 years to become Australia’s most sought after and best known circus export in over 100 years!

BIG VALLEY SAW DUST BAND
The leader and founder of this group is singing piano player Tony, who as a young man had his own rock group in England. Tony's son Hardy plays bass, Dave plays Harmonica, Campbell is the lead guitar player and Colin plays the drums. They enjoy rock and country music. |

COL FINLEY
International Touring and Award-winning Singer Songwriter.
Col has wowed audiences in Australia and overseas. His energenic live performances have won him a large and loyal following.
In 2008 Col and his band released his single "Get Your Country On" on opening night of the Tamworth Country Music Festival with a dynamic three hour perfomance.
The single debuted on the National Aria Singles Chart at No.7 above Silverchair and the Rouge Traders, and on the International Singles Charts at No.31. The single also topped the Australian Independent Charts for two consecutive weeks, outstripping Ben Lee, Beccy Cole and Lee Kernigan. |

MAUREEN O'BRIEN
Maureen brings a wealth of life experience to her Jazz-Folk-Blues material and a sense of humour to her performances. She has a rich, mellow vocal sound. She has written and performed Classic Blues and Jazz, Folk-Rock, Jazz-Rock and Contemporary Folk and Blues genres.
She has been a multi-finalist in the 1233 ABC Radio Newcastle Music Awards and her second album, "Many Shades of Blue', was awarded the prestigious Trad&Now Magazine's Best CD of 2006 in the Blues and Roots genre. Her third album, "Luminous", and fourth album, "Ebb & Flow", have been receiving regular airplay throughout community stations across Australia with Luminous selected as the AMRAP Album of the Month in 2007. Tracks from Luminous have also been selected for airplay overseas. |

STEVE McCAULEY & STREAMLINE
Steve McCauley (guitar/vocals), Trev Stacey (bass/vocals), Gene Knox (drums/vocals) and Dan Murphy (vocals) make up Streamline, whose styles range through most types of rock and country. Their breadth of experience gained by playing with so many artists, such as Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar Daley, Gina Jefferies and Jimmy Little, means they cater for any audience. They pride themselves on being a purely live act, with no computerised backing. They know when to crank up the tempo or kick back as the occasion demands. |

TIM DENNIS
Tim was born and bred in the Bourke/Brewarrina district and first showcased his singing in talent quests.
He has a love of horses and has raised over $20,000 for the National Heart Foundation by riding with his family from Bourke to Dubbo and then onto Tamworth over an 18 day period.

THE CARDINAL GROOVE
The Cardinal Groove is a Sydney-based funk, blues, jazz and soul band. A collection of young, suave, professional musicians whose music is very influenced by the Mowtown sound.
Their influences include Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Fiona Apple, Ella Fitzgerald and Bob Marley. |

Anthony founded Australian Wildlife Displays nearly twelve years ago and built it into one of Australia's premier wildlife conservation education services.
Anthony and his presenters provide fun and informative displays of Australian animals to many hundreds of thousands of people each year. They also breed a large variety of the wildlife you will see in the show. |

Local dance groups Coolah Dance Troop Academy and Dream Dance Academy will perform their excellent routines for your entertainment.
These dedicated dancers train and perform all year around and are sure to inspire eveyone to get their dancing shoes on for the evening! |
